Please help with evohome template

Post by rotor »

Hi there,

I'm a cacti newbie, trying to get graphing for my Honeywell evohome system, using the cacti template found here:
http://docs.cacti.net/usertemplate:graph:evohome

I'm getting this in the log file:
01/17/2016 11:50:02 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] NOTE: There are no items in your poller for this polling cycle!

The rra directory doesn't contain anything evohome related.

This is the documentation I've created for myself. I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks in advance!

# Download evohome cacti template and script (currently evohome-0.1.zip)
# Source: http://docs.cacti.net/usertemplate:graph:evohome
yum -y install wget unzip
cd ~
wget http://puttick.org/downloads/evohome-0.1.zip
unzip evohome-0.1.zip
cp Evohome/scripts/evohome.php /usr/share/cacti/scripts/
cp Evohome/resource/script_queries/evohome.xml /usr/share/cacti/resource/script_queries/

# Import cacti templates
# In the cacti console, select Import Templates on the left, and import each of the xml files in the \Evohome directory (e.g. D:\Downloads\evohome-0.1\Evohome\)
# Leave the default RRA settings under the Import RRA Settings section
# cacti_graph_template_evohome_-_combined_zones.xml
# cacti_graph_template_evohome_-_heating_zone.xml
# cacti_graph_template_evohome_-_outside_weather.xml

# Configure cacti
# In the cacti console, select Devices on the left, then select Localhost
# Change Downed Device Detection to None
# Change SNMP Version to Version 3
# Set SNMP Username (v3) and SNMP Password (v3) to your www.mytotalconnectcomfort.com username and password
# Click Save (at the bottom right)

# Under Associated Graph Templates, remove all the existing templates by clicking the red X next to each one on the right
# Repeat for Associated Data Queries

# Select New Graphs
# Select the correct host from the drop-down (Localhost)
# Select evohome - Combined Zones from the Create drop-down and Click Create
# Leave the three fields empty (Index Type, Index Value, Output Type ID), and click Create
