It'd be nice if there was a way to verify that the DB is clean. I think I managed to corrupt the database somehow.. too many inserts/deletes whatever. I do know that none of my graphs are showing up any more and _all_ of the output from cactid/cmd.php is showing up as partial results.. I had to wipe it all and re-enter everything (actuall drop the db) to get it working again.
A way to run a consistency check against the DB, record validation and compact Ids would be great.

Jeff,
The database is a major topic of discussion right now. This issue will be open for a while. I had the same thoughts several months ago. The new db design, when it's done, will make this tool more helpful. It is also likely that we will have to check integrity of the database prior to upgrading to the new format.
