MS SQL Server

Post by anonfoo »

I was wondering if anyone has implemented Cacti using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 instead of MySQL? If so do you have the cacti.sql script handy or the mods that you needed to make?

Thanks in advance...

Lots of modifications are needed.

At this time Cacti only support mySQL.

This is one of my projects as a developer. It will be an interesting battle. ;)

I don't know if the release of 0.8.7 will have support for anything other than mySQL, but I will be working on it, it's just a matter of time.

The answer is still yup, although some have ported cmd.php to other databases....

Plan is to support it in 0.9.1 or 0.9.2. It will be supported in a minor release after the initial release of 0.9.0.
