Take long time to collect the data!

Post by AlanTang »

Hello:

I have find that it take very long time to collect the data when I try to monitor 10 or more host under Win2K3. Does cactid can help to speed up the process? How can I get the cacid in windows version. Does any installation and configuration guide that I can follow?

Thanks a lot!

AlanTang,

Before I recommend you to run Cactid, please run your poller at debug level for 1 pass and post your cacti.log file on the web site.

Thanks,

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
