No Such File or Directory

Post by Guest »

Hey guys, looking for some help on v0.8.6b.
I have a host that I'm looking to graph CPU usage and NIC traffic. I've successfully created the traffic graph, but the CPU graph is not working. I get the following error from graph debug:

Code: Select all

ERROR: opening '/home/www/cacti/rra/tccmbk02_cpu_66.rrd': No such file or directory
The strange thing is that I can setup CPU monitors successfully for the individual processors ('CPU 0 utilization', etc.). Any ideas why I can't get just plain overall CPU utilization? I've tried on a couple of systems and it's not working on them either, though the other graphs are ok.

Having read every post and tried the same thing it seems that this is a very common problem.

There seems to be different fixes for different versions so its hard to pin down... I wish I too had an answer.

I noticed when I set up basic in/out monitoring of the ethernet port on my WinXP machine, I ended up with three graphs, two of them broken, trying to monitor things I never specified. I'm not sure why, and deleted the graphs and data sources. Fixed at that point, but a pain.
