Graphing Interface Traffic Totals

I'm trying to graph inbound traffic totals for various periods. So rather than graphing bits/sec I'd like to graph "total bits per interval" and then produce the daily/weekly/monthly graphs). I know I can use the "Interface - Traffic (b/s, Total Bandwidth" template, but that reports the Total as comment on the graph. How do I plot that total?
