My cacti graphs are not showing exact values beyong 120 Mbps

Post by alef1nagiosxi »

Hi,

I am using cacti and monitoring an HP 5900 switch, and facing an issue that graph is not expanding beyond 120 Mbps, but the last 5 minutes input/output on switch is much more.

For example :--

If exact IN/out for last 300 sec. on switch is approx. 64/376 Mbps whereas cacti graph is showing IN/OUT = 65/55 Mbps.

Please help me to solve this issue.

The switch shows :--
Last 300 seconds input: 39416 packets/sec 9454871 bytes/sec 8%
Last 300 seconds output: 49463 packets/sec 48863541 bytes/sec 39%

whereas cacti graph shows
IN= 76.22 Mbps
Out = 55.17 Mbps

Thanks
Rajesh

Are you using the 64 bit Counter graphs?

No, I am using 32 bit counters.

I am using below graph template.

Please suggest and let me know how to fix this issue?

Thanks
