Hi folks
I've noticed an issue with embedding a url on a node in the weathermap.
I like to use links from a node pointing back to a host. When I view the host
then copy the link to the hover url or info url then past it in, when I then use it I get
a page that is missing the top and left hand menu bar. like the link itself is wrong
I know this worked correctly in the 0.97a version.....
any ideas?????
thanks

Re: embeded URL on a weathermap node
Same problem here, assuming you are accessing your hosts with the tree view mode, I think that the issue comes from the action tree_content in graph_view.php.
As a workaround, you can use a URL like xxxxxx/cacti/graph_view.php?action=preview&host_id=xxx where the host_id is the host's id in the devices section of the console tab

Hey Happiness0!
I have tried a lot, searched with google, jstree code and help manual, but i'm not a programmer..
yes, the workaround is useful, with the preview method there some options
with the host_id
.../graph_view.php?action=preview&host_id=5177
with the host/customer name (3Plus) or customer number
.../graph_view.php?action=preview&filter=3Plus
or a idea from Nagios system, a small external file cactiplug.php it works with host IP or DNS name but also shows the preview graphs and not the tree
http://blog.nicolargo.com/2008/06/lier- ... agios.html
.../cactiplug.php?ip=127.0.0.1
our current workaround is to put the 0.8.8b Files back and work with the old tree until there is a solution with the external link to the Nodes.
old Files: graph_view.php include/top_graph_header.php include/top_header.php /lib/html_tree.php and the whole \include\treeview Files

Re: embeded URL on a weathermap node
Could you please post a sample node config, and a screenshot of the result? I'm not sure I understand what is happening...
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
