Cacti suddenly stop polling

Dear All

This happen twice in 2 week
Cacti was working fine a few days then will suddenly stop polling until I use manually "Rebuild Poller Cache"
No idea what does it cause as checked the server disk are free also performance not busy (polling stop at the night)
The cacti was 0.8.8c with server 2008R2 64bit

try turn on the debug log but no sure what kind of "Keyword" to search relate to this
Or anything can do for further troubleshoot?

Does the gaps happen for ALL graphs or just that single instance?
During the time of the gaps, any errors in the cacti log?

It happen all graph for the missing poll

Just checked my cacti.log already 3GB
I have saw some reference relate to large cacti.log and affect polling
Just install logroate plugin with 7days and see what happen later
