RRD running too slow

cacti 0.8.8c
spine 0.8.8c
Cygwin 64bit for windows
rrdtool 1.2.15cygwin-1.5.20
net-snmp 5.5.0.2
activeperl 5.20.1

I'm have Hosts:116 HostsPerProcess:116 DataSources:1598 RRDsProcessed:1002, and set poller interval 1 min, but rrd and php can't run over toi 1 min, what can i do upgrade the performance or change other application to run rrd?

switch to spine poller
put the rrds on a faster disk (use junction point).
examine disk performance counters to validate the storage is the bottleneck.
install Boost plugin and configure caching.
