Hi All,
I have a requirement to graph IP usage subnet wise as indicated on following example.
Eg:- need to graph 192.168.1.0/24 instead of graphing 192.168.1.1/32 , 192.168.1.10/32 ....
Can some one please guide me to enable the feature if possible with CACTI ???

Any Help Plz !!!!!
Re: Graph a total IP subnet
Please try explaining your question better. Graphing a subnet? Graphing what about a subnet? Traffic? Your not being specific enough to anyone to begin to help you.

Thanks for replying and sorry for not specifying my requirement. It's basically like following.
We have several /24 blocks which are distributed among clients.
one /24 distribute among 32 clients as /29's. What my requirement is to graph the traffic of total /24 instead of graphing each individual /29...
Hope above specify my requirement ...
Re: Graph a total IP subnet
Cacti doesn't "listen" to traffic and graph from that data. It talks to your switches / routers and pulls the SNMP information that your router gives us on its interfaces.
If you have separate interfaces setup for each of the clients (physical or virtual), then there is a possibility that you can then graph each of those separately. If all your clients are coming in on 1 interface, then Cacti isn't going to be able to help you at all. Your router is going to hand us stats on an interface, not the various subnets traversing through that interface. You would want something like ntop, etc... to actual listen to the packets and parse it all out. That has some of its own pitfalls though.
You should be a bit more specific about what equipment you are wanting to monitor, and even how the clients are connected to you. With such a vague explanation, we would really are just guessing whether its possible with the way we imagine you may or may not be setup. Even a quick diagram crudely drawn in MSPaint is better then nothing.

We are using cacti for individual customer where system will take the SNMP info from given IP ( device ) and plot a usage graph.
As an example lets take 192.168.1.0/24 subnet....
I have distributed this subnet among 32 clients where each one will get a /29 subnet......
192.168.1.0/29 ; 192.168.1.8/29 ; 192.168.1.16/29 etc ......
What I actual want to know , is there a way to plot a graph which will show the usage of whole /24 subnet .... ????
