Hi Guys
I noticed something annoying when I'm importing new device templates.
I changed the graph template items a bit (colours , fields) also suggested values (under data queries).
Since dependencies includes there in the template I'd like to import... all last changes I did in related fields just being reset to the new ones in the template - graph template items and suggested values without any prompt or option to avoid it.
I'm talking mostly about generic "SNMP interface statistics". I'm editing Bits In/Out values and when importing new template all changes getting lost.
Seems like no option to choose specifically which dependencies will be imported and get updated, am I right ?

Yes, you're right. It install all of the data included in the template.
You could, however, export your changed template and then simply re-import it after you added new templates.
It's a workaround, but that way you also have a backup for your changes which can be easily restored.

yeah I know. that's what I do. but I need to remember to do it before each import. since Im still in building it up ..
Do you know to tell if there's any pending feature request already ? Seems very basic thing to have .

BTW - I just tried to import back my last good changes and noticed graph template "Interface - Traffic (bits/sec)" for instance, doesn't update the values as it should ONLY when I deleted one by one all fields from the graph and re-import then it updated (by adding all graph item fields)
Really strange ...
