[solved] graphs exist but do not appear in tree

Post by beezedbee »

Hi,

About 10 seconds before posting this, I realised that the problem existed between the chair and the keyboard... I will post anyway, in case anyone else does the same stupid thing as me (and assumes that Cacti is to blame!)

----

I am graphing 10 Cisco 6500 switches, plus the cacti host server itself. The only graphs visible in the tree are from a single Cisco switch - nothing else appears. Previously I could view all graphs without an issue.

If I go to Devices | <Problem device> | Graph List | <Graph> I can see the graph with no problems and if I manually enter the direct url for a missing graph, I can see all 4 (daily, weekly, monthly and yearly) with no problems (e.g. http://x.x.x.x/cacti/graph.php?action=v ... rra_id=all)

I get the feeling I've missed something obvious - I struggled to search the forums because "graph" is too common a term.

I am using 0.8.8.c on Centos 7 (MariaDB 5.5.40 from default package in place of MySQL)

---

<FACE PALM>The obvious thing I had missed was the fact that I had applied a search term to my graph view - which only matched graphs on one host; hence clicking to another host resulted in no graphs</FACE PALM
