Dell s4810 and E600 switches

Post by azher »

Hi there,

I am using Cacti 0.8.8a with mactrac for the Cisco switches and its reporting MAC details properly.

However for the Dell switches (old Force10 Networks) model s4810 and E600, the port numbers are displayed +1 , no host IP addresses and no vendor name for the MAC addresses, please see attached picture. These switches start with e.g. Te 0/0 for the first port.

The device type for this switch is also attached.

Any suggestions on how to get port number fixed, get the vendor Name and IP address? Adding few switch outputs for the MAC addresses in the images:

Actual port = Te 0/34 but its displayed like 35

R3:s4810#sh mac-address-table address 00:01:E8:8A:F7:E8

Codes: *N - VLT Peer Synced MAC
VlanId Mac Address Type Interface State
5 00:01:e8:8a:f7:e8 Dynamic Te 0/34 Active
6 00:01:e8:8a:f7:e8 Dynamic Te 0/34 Active
55 00:01:e8:8a:f7:e8 Dynamic Te 0/34 Active
212 00:01:e8:8a:f7:e8 Dynamic Te 0/34 Active

Similar for the port Te 0/13 which is showed as 14 in the display

Thanks
