Cacti doesn't execute on more then >~1000 devices at time

Post by stefanbrudny »

Hi,

when I mark for example more than 1000 devices and would like to choose action for them from menu (i.e. perform Autom8 actions or change snmp settings) Cacti silently goes back like nothing happened. The same goes when trying to perform actions on thousands of graphs etc. Any bigger number is ignored.

Any idea why is that? there is no log for that in cacti log, apache / php log. Actually I've experienced this for years but never had so much devices at hand.

Thank you very much!

And this is solved, it is better to look for logs in right places ;-)
