Environmental Probe Not Graphing

Post by Onyx123 »

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me.

I am new to Cacti, having just started a job where it is used and we are experiencing an issue with one of the environmental probes.

We have 3 environmental probes, which are set up to report the temperature and humidity levels in our data room. These probes report back using snmp and we use this info to graph the current temperature and humidity for each probe. the problem is that one of the probes is not graphing. The probe its self is working as accessing the web interface displays the temp and humidity, but for some reason the data isn't getting to the graph. It has been set up with the exact same settings as the other two, both of which are working and reporting fine.

We have tried replacing the probe, thinking it may be hardware related, but a replacement hasn't made any difference.

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what may be causing this problem and how I could fix it?

I really appreciate any help that can be offered.

Cheers!

Start with http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:4_help.2_debugging and see where the data collection is breaking.
