graphing cisco devices

Post by mrose1120 »

Hi,
Trying to graph some Cisco devices and in the graph name put |host_description| – |query_ifName| – |query_ifAlias| – Traffic

Only host_description is showing. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also sometimes when I add them, it just simply gives me a broken image.
thanks!

I have seen this too, and have only been able to do a workaround by making a template that allows me to enter the Title by hand. I have found that the newer Cisco devices don't have this issue, but anything probably 2 years older or more does. I can send you more details of you like.

change the default title applied. Manually editing is a poor choice.
Data Queries -> SNMP - Interface Statistics -> Associated Graph Templates -> select graph -> Suggested Values --> reorder as desired. save.
