Test mail is working,but host Up Down Alert not working

hi,

i have installed cacti on windows through cacti installer.

Operating System:Windows 7
Webserver: Apache
Cacti:0.8.8
MySQL:5.5
PHP:5.3.17
RRDTool :1.4.7
Net-SNMP:5.5

Enabled threshold and manage monitor pluggings installed . i am able to get test mail through my SMTP . but i could not get Host Up and Down alerts .

Cacti Settings (Poller)
Host Up/Down Settings
Failure Count 2
Recovery Count 1.

Activated the checkbox "Dead Hosts Notifications"?. Even Thold Up/Down Email Notification are done in the device edit options.

Can somebody help me regarding this.

Really a plugin issue so moving.

forget to specify an email address for the threshold alerts?
