poller interval

poller interval

Hello,
I have a problem with cacti, I need to make that my "poller interval" is set to 10 minutes, i am using cacti 0.8.8 and don't know how make this.

Why? It's not an easy process to change the interval

I'm managing a network around 100 devices that have few bandwidth and I don't want that every 5 minutes my network is saturating.
I think it my network is saturated less if the poller interval is every 10 minutes and not every 5 minutes

can you help me or advise?

My advise is to leave it alone. SNMP packets are so tiny, if the are saturating your network, then you have bigger issues. You may want to figure out what is actually saturating your network connections instead. You haven't given us any real info to go by, so I assume that you aren't running all 28k rate dial up modems.

are a devices of radio frequency, his bandwith is 154 kbps, is nice because reaches over 60 miles. I will follow your advice!!
