BUMP -

I am starting to get a "Validation Error." message when trying to place a graph on a page! ( ANY GRAPH NOW) - it DID WORK!!!

This does seem to be an on-going issue - in the bug reports there is no official fix that I can see -

What I have done:

I have applied the latest patch - I have disabled "strict mode" in mysql.

I do see that it seems to be related to a data source issue.
When I go to edit the data source for the graph having the issue and hit Save ( NO OTHER CHANGES made)

I get an error :"Error: Save Failed: Field Input Error (Check Red Fields)."

SO - this all leads to my questions - are people having this issue? are there new requirements for PHP? mysql ?

ANY input will help here!

Thanks!

So, 1 - check your ownership of files.
2 - check that your cron job is running as the correct user.
3 - in the cacti backend - go to System Utilities, and click on Technical Support - It will tell WHAT you are having problems with!

Good luck.

Now if I can get MY problem answered - google searching led me here!
