Generic OID Template polling fails with SNMP Get Timeout

Post by mhoran85 »

I've set up a Generic OID Template data source in Cacti to graph nf_conntrack_count from my router. I can read the value of the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.8.1.101 from the same machine on which Cacti is running via snmpwalk, but when I add it to Cacti, I find "SNMP Get Timeout for Host:'...', and OID:'.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.8.1.101'" in the logs.

Any help would be much appreciated! I've tried clearing the poller cache as others have recommended, and also bumped up the timeout for the host to 5 seconds, neither of which helped.
