Heavy time drifting of cacti 0.8.7g on vmware vm centos

Post by marifil »

Hello,

New to cacti, but lots of problems.. sys time running very mutch late, needed to force cron ntpdate every minute.
Running on vm CentOS 4.7 Final 32bit - 2.6.9-78.0.13.ELsmp; on ESXi 5.1.0
ESXi host synced OK.

When running fine, errors:
CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Cell Failed!, Error:'1064', SQL:"select local_graph_id from graph_templates_graph where local_graph_id="

Or:
PHPSVR: Poller[0] WARNING: Script Server terminated with signal '15' in file:'', function:'', params:''

If anyone has something to point it would be very appreciated!!

Other than that, cheers :)

CentOS 4.7
There is your problem. 4.X had issues running in a VM. If I remember correctly (its been years since I have seen anyone run that old version) there was a special kernel that you could install to correct the time issue (kernel-vm).
