Hi! I've been using cacti for almost 6 months with no problem. But today When i tried to add Huawei H3C switch, I cannot view any of its interfaces.
The cacti log file showed me SNMP Get timeout like as stated below;
CMDPHP: Poller[0] WARNING: SNMP Get Timeout for Host:'10.2.8.8', and OID:'.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0'
I can see all SNMP details, like uptime and etc.
Any other Huawei Switches are working. Please, i badly need your help.
Cacti Version 0.8.8b
thank you.

Re: SNMP Get Timeout
by the way i get this result when i do verbose query;
Running data query [1].
+ Found type = '3' [SNMP Query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/share/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP get for num of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.0' Index Count: 259
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1' Index Count: 0
+ No SNMP data returned

Re: SNMP Get Timeout
I've had a similar issue, solved by increasing the "SNMP Timeout".
To do this in the device settings, under "SNMP Options" change the "SNMP Timeout" -by memory the default is 500 (I've played with my default settings so can't confirm) so try something like 1000 & if that doesn't work keep stepping up. Though I personally wouldn't go over 3000.
Remember to save the new device settings.
I've found I've had to do a debugging "verbose query" to get the device "working" quickly {in the device settings under Associated Data Queries > [Data Query Name e.g. SNMP - Interface Statistics] > (Verbose Query)}.
