Hi to all,
I'm trying to graph BER value from my demodulator.
The value, custom script gives to cacti, has the following form: 1.0e-8.
But, cacti doesn't show the real value, it shows "10 n" on GPrint and Vertical side of graph.
Where I'm wrong?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Marco.

Did you change the GPrint from Normal to Exact Numbers?
Re: How to graph power of 10 value like BER
Yes, I did. After that, cacti displays in GPRINT fields '0' and not '10 n', but the graph still remain the same.

The value '10 n' I suppose is a rappresentation of '10e-8'. This point, how I can configure cacti to display '10e-8' and not in the other form?

Did you try changing all the fields in the Graph Template to Exact and not just the GPRINTS?mdiario wrote:Yes, I did. After that, cacti displays in GPRINT fields '0' and not '10 n', but the graph still remain the same.

Thanks for your answer 'Cigamit'.
I made the changes suggested, but the vaules I have on the graph are '0' and not '10 n' (I think 'n' stands for 'nano', 10e-9).
In any case the new value I get is not usable, because doesn't correspond to real value 10e-8.
How I can to configure cacti to display 10e-8?
Thanks,
M.
