Device Setup page

Post by resnet »

New user/Centos 6/Cacti 8.8b
Installed Cacti and dependencies. Started cacti with http://ip/cacti in firefox. the first screen i get is:

You are now logged into Cacti. You can follow these basic steps to get started.

Create devices for network
Create graphs for your new devices
View your new graphs

i clicked create devices for network and get a screen with a lot of scripts:

ie:
"Delete", 2 => "Enable", 3 => "Disable", 4 => "Change SNMP Options", 5 => "Clear Statistics", 6 => "Change Availability Options" ); $device_actions = api_plugin_hook_function('device_action_array', $device_actions); /* set default action */ if (!isset($_REQUEST["action"])) { $_REQUEST["action"] = ""; }

i'm new to php and snmp so i'm not sure where to start here. Mysql seems to work fine. Apache, php are running and snmp as well.
I've spent a few hours searching google and the forum and have reset permissions for cacti.

I assume it's something simple. Anyone know where to start?
tnx

Not to worry. I removed Cacti and replaced it with Cacti EZ and am now working fine.
