discovery plugin - device with multiple interfaces problem

after a hiatus to other NMS systems, I think I will be returning to Cacti, I have reinstalled with the discovery plugin.. however I cannot seem to figure out why my devices are constantly being added with every interface.

bug: Do not add a host to the list if its discovered as more than one IP


But every L3 switch I have in my network is added for every vlan it routes for.. one device is added 52 times..

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop this from happening ??

Got the same issue here, my L3 switches are in multiple times now.
First time I used discovery to actually add devices automaticly (been running it for years but never had it on auto)
