Re: Graphs without datas
I assume you are trying to graph a Windows host?
Did you properly INSTALL and configure SNMP on the Windows machine?
Go to Control Panel/Programs and Features and there select "Turn Windows features on or off".
In the dialog window that appears, make sure that "Simpe Network Management Protocol (SNMP)" is checked. You can also check "WMI SNMP Provider", that won't hurt.
Once SNMP is installed, you need to configure the security of the SNMP service. Again go to Control Panel, there open "Computer Management", expand "Services and Applications" and open "Services". Right click on "SNMP Service" and open its properties.
In the "Security" tab, you either have to add all the machines from which you want to accept SNMP packets or you select "Accept SNMP packets from any host".
You also have to add the community name that you have entered in Cacti for this host. The default is PUBLIC. So if you want this Windows machine to respond to SNMP packets, add the community PUBLIC. It's okay if it's just a READONLY community.
At last, you should also check the settings of your Windows Firefall. The Inbound-Rules should allow incoming SNMP packets from your Cacti installation.
Please post if this was helpful or if you can still not receive any SNMP data from that host.
