New user, quite lost. Trying to graph data from an XML file

Hey all. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question or not. I have data from an XML file that I want to graph. The file is at http://<IP>/cgi-bin/status.xml. There are quite a few fields in the XML file some of which I want to graph, some of which I don't. To be quite honest, I am not even sure where to start. Any help at all would be very much appreciated.
