Am re-doing our Win2008R2 Cacti server with a fresh 8.8/IIS install. I ran the msi installer for PHP VC9 5.3 Non Safe Thread version, selected all the extensions per the 8.8 manual and its PHP install instructions. However when I run "php -m" at the CLI I see a long list of modules that aren't installed including the ones I selected during the install process (that are required per the 8.8 manual). I've uninstalled/re-installed this version of PHP and still have the same results. By any chance is the php -m output erroneous? If not what should I do to get these extensions installed? This is the most recent version of PHP for Windows that has an msi installer and is the same one specified in the 8.8 manual. I am running the install with the domain admin account so user privileges should not be an issue.
Also IIS is configured (with FastCGI, which was also selected during the PHP install) with the exception of the non-existence of any users in the IIS_IUSRS group - I asked in another post if I need to create the Computername\IUSR_ or Computername\IIS_WPG users and if so do I need to somehow "inform" IIS about the passwords for these users if I do indeed need to create them? Passwords are required for user accounts per AD Group Policy, even local users.
We have been a Cacti user dating back to 2004 or thereabouts and our Cacti/Apache install on this server imploded (Apache would no longer launch) last November. I spent much time trying to revive the Apache-based Cacti install before throwing up my hands, and would like to do a fresh Cacti\IIS install on this same server. We have been without the graphing data involving our network, since last November and urgently need to start gathering that data again. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
