need to query the print spooler of my workstations and report back how many items are queued up.
I see nothing in snmpwalk with a direct correation to this.
thoughts on the best / lightest way to do this?
my cacti box is unix.

This information is available via Windows Performance Counter. Take your pick of Windows scripting language (powershell, vbscript) to obtain it. Since your Cacti system is on Linux, you're going to run into authentication problems... search the forums for the solutions others have came up with.
