I hope this is the proper forum for my problem, I posted to the General help board because this is a Ubuntu cacti based install and my problems revolve around monitoring win7 hosts.
Graphs for "SNMP-Get Processor" Info and "SNMP-Get Monitored Partitions" on most of my Win7 hosts have stopped working. The Win7 hosts that still work have gaps in the graphs. I had this problem on initial setup and thought I had fixed it by bumping the snmp timeout to 1000ms, it initially helped but no longer does. Just as a sanity check, I bumped the snmp timeout even further, to 5000ms, but the change made no difference (I've also tried to up the thread count and lower the max oid/get request, no help). Strangely, "SNMP-Interface Statistics" has worked fine from the beginning and still works.
The systems being monitored are highly loaded servers on a highly loaded network segment. Another data point to consider is that the linux hosts that I monitor using "SNMP-Get Processor" have been working flawlessly. These linux boxes are perhaps less loaded than the win7 boxes, but the network is the same. Also, I've made certain that disk space is not a problem on the cacti server and have double-checked such things as file ownership and permission on the sql server. Also, I ran "mysqlcheck" and everything came back as "OK".
A synopsis of the data dumps included below is that the log file shows a return of a partial result (U), while command line queries (snmpget, snmpwalk, spine) and a verbose query look to me like good data (I don't think I'm reading them incorrectly).
I don't know what I'm missing here, but based on my past history it's probably something simple that I've overlooked.
Sorry for the overly long post, but I didn't want to leave anything out.
Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Win7 Get Processor was working now failing.
Appears everything is set up and functioning properly.
1) have you upped the cacti.log level to find out when it fails, the detailed reason it occurred?
2) I know there have been various hotfixes for Win7/2008R2 which fix performance counter reporting and/or SNMP reporting. http://support.microsoft.com/common/rss ... ssid=14019 is a good start, but doesn't have older posts (more found on http://blogs.technet.com/b/yongrhee/arc ... -feed.aspx).
Not saying these will fix your problem, but an example of the various SNMP related hotfixes out there:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980259
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2555958
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2786454
