Weekly Nectar report for working days on working hours ?

Post by guillo »

Hi

I would like to create a weekly report that contains the "Day Shift" report of each week day, therefore:

Weekly report: Once a week containing the following graphs
Mon 7am to 7pm
Tue 7am to 7pm
Wed 7am to 7pm
Thu 7am to 7pm
Fri 7am to 7pm

Any ideas how I can do this specific report?
Cacti 8.8.8a
Settings 0.71
Nectar 0.35a

Thanks in advance for your help

I don't think that's possible. You can do a "last day" and "last week" graph
The other option is to do a "last 12 hours" graph at 1900 every day, then email it to something that combines the last 7 emails into one, but that would be a horrible hack.

Consider setting a feature request against nectar, to support arbitrary time ranges, ie "minus 12 hours to now", "minus 36 hours to minus 24 hours" etc. The RRD underneath knows that.

Oh - after three days the RRD will compact its data so the earlier graphs won't have the same resolution... could be a bad thing.

Thanks for your comments. I have submitted a feature request, so let's see if this is possible.

What criggie said is correct.
We do not have a report offset right now (you would require a negative offset to positiob to the weekdays in turn).
Well, when I remember correctly, we have had such an offset which got lost somehow.
