Aggregate -- Retain "MAX" values on aggregated graphs

I am using Aggregate v0.75, and I've noticed that the AREA/STACK/LINE items all use the CF type "AVERAGE," rather than "MAX." This results in the aggregated graphs losing max data over time (weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.). Is it possible to adjust the default behavior to use MAX instead of AVERAGE for these graph items, so that the actual maximum value on longer duration graphs (1 month, 1 year, etc.) accurately reflects the maximum value observed over that time period?
