Hi,
What platform are you running Cacti 0.8.8a on?
PIA is built in to 0.8.8a.
Generally, it's pretty simple, you just drop them in to the cacti/plugins directory, making sure that you extract the tar or zip file with it's original directory name. Monitor goes in to the monitor directory etc).
There is a guide http://docs.cacti.net/plugins.install
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Without knowing the platform you are running Cacti on, its difficult to say which plugin you should install. However, if you google "cacti wmi plugin" you will find lots of helpful info.
Hope this helps.
