SNMP bug on Windows device

Post by Cehz »

Hi guys,

I'm a french informatic student, so please, don't blame me for my english

I am currently setting up a “monitoring” network in the company where I am in internship by installing Cacti on Debian, I succeeded in importing templates used on an old machine and I thus put myself to add what one call devices.

All this master key very well when I add a Linux machine, the protocol functions perfectly and I recover information of the machine like below

Out when I add a Windows machine, this one does not answer and here that I find on Cacti

Cacti.log :

Code: Select all

I do not understand why the SNMP functions on a Linux and not on Windows, I thought of a problem of firewall but a machine is already functioning with Cacti and this one recovers all information well.

Could somebody help me? :)

Cordially, Cehz.
