Graph Tree Structure for Host Templates

Post by blubbersuelze »

Hi,

i'd like to have the possibility to Design a Graph-Tree-Structure in every Host Template to group all the Graphs of a Template into individual subtrees for getting a better overview.

When i add a new host and associate one of these Host-Templates to it and add this host now to a subtree or the root-tree of the Graph-Tree, the complete Graph-Tree-Structure should be added.

A good place for this Feature could be the the Site in which you can edit your existing Host Template.
( http://<your Cacti Host>/cacti/host_templates.php?action=edit&id=<some Template ID> )
At moment there you can add/change this:
-Template Name
-Associated Graph Templates
-Associated Data Queries

P.S.: I know, that Gandalf wrote a plugin, i think it's called "automate", to do things like that, but i'd like to have a native full integrated solution.

Yes.
Even if we'd go to integrate such a feature, it would be done via a plugin.
And I don't see the point why we should implement this twice - sorry
