I would like to know if its possible the following scenario:
Centralized Cacti on a datacenter with several sources;
The Sources will be not only the servers i have in the Datacenter (that are being pulled by SNMP as normal) but also remote Cacti servers that are behind firewall so they don't allow SNMP to reach them from outside;
The basic model should be like this:
CACTI MAIN SERVER < - MULTIPLE HOSTS Connected to the MAIN SERVER to deliver directly on DB their own results without interfere on other results;
Could this be made? For example, if i added a host on Cacti main server this would prepare a entry on the database for that host, how could i populate the results grabbed from outside server only affecting that records?
