thold if value is -nan?

Post by HV »

Hello,
I have a stack of switches with one ip address only. I can read OID from individual switch (temperature). I want to send email when value is between some numbers and when value is -nan too. If only one switch is off, value is -nan and I want to send email about it.
Can you help me?
Thank you very much

Hi,

Have you made any progress with this issue? I'm having a similar situation where I need to have a notification sent on "nan".

I believe it should be possible to write a CDEF function that converts a "nan" value to some other hardcoded value on which a threshold can be set, I'm looking into that now.

Any other solutions?
