No Graphs Showing

Post by kontrol »

Hi,

I have scoured the forum and everywhere else I could find, read as much as my eyes can take and tried all the ideas and suggestions I came across in the past 2 days but I'm still having issues with no graphs being displayed.

I have installed Cacti to my laptop details are:

Win 7 x64
PHP 5.3.21
IIS 7
Net-SNMP 5.5
RRDTool 1.4.x
poller.php scheduled every 5 mins using administrator
PHP, USR, Inetpub folders all have everyone full control and IUSR is owner.

The cacti.log is as follows:

RRDTool Says:

OK

I can run poller.php and cmd.php from the command line with no errors, the .rrd files are in rra dir and I deleted them and cacti recreated them (to make sure they weren't damaged)
I have rebuilt the database and rebuilt the poller cache too.

Graph page shows:

I am stumped at the moment. I hope I haven't missed anything and I appreciate any help I can get before I pull my hair out (what's left of it anyway!)

Thanks

1) did you use the installer or manually install Cacti?
2) double-check the permissions on cmd.exe and rrdtool.exe allow IIS_USRS read/execute.
3) last resort would be using sysinternals process monitor to check for access denied errors (guide in my signature).

pkttuong:
1) really should create your own post as you do not have the same issue or environment as the OP.
2) Using 0.8.7b?? you need to upgrade to 0.8.8a.
3) The rrdtool STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION is one issue. Sounds like a crash. What version are you using?
4) The "Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result: No Such Instance cur" is another issue that shows invalid OIDs are being used. Follow http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11747 to troubleshoot.

Hello there! Sorry for my bad english.

I've got a same problem here. OS W7x32 PHP 5.4.7 RRDtool 1.4.4 Net-SNMP 5.6.1.1 Cacti 0.8.8a. Running spine from admin each 5 min.
RRD files are created and filled with info, but graphs do not display.
If I run a bat file with a command like

Code: Select all

c:/rrdtool/rrdtool.exe graph test.png --imgformat=PNG --start=1375173142 --end=1375259542 --title="localhost - CPU Utilization - CPU0" --rigid --base=1000 --height=120 --width=500 --alt-autoscale-max --lower-limit="0" COMMENT:"From 2013/07/30 10\:32\:22 To 2013/07/31 10\:32\:22\c" COMMENT:" \n" --vertical-label="percent" --slope-mode --font TITLE:10: --font AXIS:7: --font LEGEND:8: --font UNIT:7: DEF:a="C\:/xampp/htdocs/cacti/rra/localhost_cpu_11.rrd":"cpu":AVERAGE AREA:a#FF0000FF:"CPU Utilization"
it produces a valid test.png file, which can be opened via any png supported viewer.
However, if I point a browser to something like

Code: Select all

http://server/cacti/graph_image.php?local_graph_id=8&rra_id=0&graph_height=100&graph_width=300&graph_nolegend=true&graph_start=1375170004&graph_end=1375256404
IE displays a broken image icon, FF says "Image _path here_ cannot be showed because it contains errors."
I've saved it into a file, and inside it looks like a valid PNG file - but it can't be opened by any program, they all say that file structure is invalid.

Any help with this issue?
