Count how many times exceeded a threshold

Hi, I need your help, I need to count how many times the variable traffic input or output interface exceeds 800Kbps in one day, is there a way???

It should be possible to add a small function to a new release of ReportIt that only returns the number of exceeded thresholds.

But today ReportIt already has a similar function which goes one step further and is most probably more interesting:
Take a look at functions f_dot and f_sot, which allow to calculate the duration of threshold respectively the sum of threshold.
In most business cases you would like to calculate the percentage of business time a threshold was exceeded. This can be solved in a flexible way using f_dot in combination with a variable. At the end you will be able to report to your management something like "Traffic load of link A to sales offices XYZ was over 90% of the bandwidth for 80% of the local business time of that office. We should think about an upgrade."
