How to Monitor router with total Bandwidth

Just new here,
How do i monitor my router with it's total bandwidth?
i am using the template [Interface-traffic(bits/sec. Total Bandwidth)] but i am very sure that our bandwidth is not 1.5M how can i monitor the our real bandwidth?

Peak traffic usage that occurs for less than the polling interval may be printed as a lower value than it was in reality. But don't expect, that the traffic values shown related to the max bandwidth of your uplink. It prints what has been transferred ... and it depends on correct SNMP COUNTERs being used on the device being polled

Sir, what do you suggest in fixing this issue?

It depends on what you want to achieve
- the graph won't never print the "static bandwidth of the interface" unless the interface is in complete saturation (which is not a good situation)
- in case you want to catch peaks smaller than the current polling interval, you will have to reduce that interval. You can do this with Cacti - please see related HowTo. This currently is a tedious process and you will loose all your current data - you have been warned
