CPU load on platform utilising Intel Turbo Boost tech

Intel Turbo Boost technology present in some of the Intel CPU's (ie Xeon E5) allows for on demand performance boost (CPU clock speed up). Hence graph on CPU usage in cacti for hardware using such CPU is not showing real load on processor.

There are tools like http://code.google.com/p/i7z/ that allow reading live CPU utilisation of Sandy Bridge family processors.

Have any of you come across similar problem and developed a solution for reading real CPU load on systems using Intel's cpu featuring turbo boost?
