bugs with cacti?

Post by solarflow99 »

I have noticed several problems with cactiL

- ICMP ping won't work for anything, it always says its timed out no matter how high I set the timeout

- Windows hosts don't graph at all, yet the snmp query succeeds just fine. no .rrd files were being created and in the database it showed total_polls and failed_polls to be the same, indicating that its not polling. So when I enable debug mode I can see all my hosts being polled EXCEPT for the windows hosts. I've changed the snmp version, timeout, but only once did I get 1 to work.

I'm using cacti-0.8.8a-2.el6.noarch on rhel 6.3 x86_64

Anyone know whats wrong here?

Can't anyone give some advice what to check when its not even polling the device? I set set poller.php in debug mode, and it doesn't even try to poll the windows host.
