NPC Problem (and ndo2db ?) Configuration (cacti / centreon)

Post by BlackYoup »

Hello guys :)

First, thanks for the work you are providing :)
Secondly, sorry for my english, it's not my native language :)

As the title said, I have a problem with the NPC plugin for cacti. I'll describe my full installation below, sorry if i choose the wrong section
I'm running an Ubuntu version 12.04.1 (I prevent, I'm a newb on linux) with, on it, Nagios 3.4.1, centreon 2.3.9 and Cacti 0.8.7i. I installed PIA (Plugin Architecture version 3.1) on Cacti and then, installed NPC version 2.04.

My problem is that NPC displays nothing and say my Nagios is OFF, and it isn't (screenshot 1 below). I followed a lot of tutorials (english and french) for the installation of NPC, but when the Nagios configuration time arrived, I can't specify the database parameters in ndo2bd.cfg for cacti because centreon already use it and I don't know how specify 2 DB connections. I read a post which explain (that is the only post I found with the same problem/configuration, the link is below the screenshots) I can make a new "Broker" in centreon. I found it, but no ideas how it works and how to use it, documentation didn't help me :(

An other detail, when I load the NPC plugin page, It write a lot of errors on my apache logs (screenshot 2 below). I think there is a link (And certain will may be said "Noooooo You think ??" --Irony) but an other time, I don't find explications for this.

Thanks for read, and if someone got the solution or just a way for search, it would be very appreciate, because I'm totaly lost after 2 search days :-?
If you need more details, just ask and I'll provide it quickly

Have a good day and thanks for the future help :)
