[DataTemplate] Can't rename the DataSource item.

Hi.

I'm using cacti.86 and I've thought that the change of DS name in DataTemplate could be propagated out to all of its data source and RRD filenme.

But I can't change the name of DS(e.g pps --> pkt_in) and I got the error message "can't find RRD file(with new ds name).
I lost data while its name had been changed...when I change to original ds name.

Is there a way to add/remove/rename DS' to an existing RRD?

RRD Names are static always. It is likely that the graph template is looking for data in the RRD file(s) that does not exist. This is an unavoidable issue at the moment.

Bottom line is, make sure that you evaluate test and develop your templates before deployment.
