Hello Forum

I just installed a Cacti 0.8.8a in a CentOS 6.3 fresh install, without problems.
I've installed Nagios 4.3.1 and the latest Nagios-plugins clean from tar.gz source (/usr/local/nagios/).

I've found a good procedure and I've modified it to my interest
(My procedure is in my blog, it says Nagios 3.2.3 but is fully applicable with nagios 3.4.1 (tested) http://cachorroyayo.blogspot.com (in spanish for now) I hope somebody find it usefull for their matters)

Well.
I've installed ndoutils and ncp plugin without problems, even; I could import several host from Nagios to Cacti and no complains.

But I'm having delays (or problems) when trying to import Windows Hosts from a Windows Hostgroup using "Windows 2000/XP host" Template.
Linux Hosts passed clean but with the windows I feel perhaps, something is missing.

I'm trying to import 45 hosts from the hostgroup but the progress bar says "Importing host 1 of 45) the progress seems do not work from yesterday at 17:00.

I'm trying to find something related to ndo/npc in the logs without success and I don't know where else search.

I hope somebody can help me and this help will be very appreciated and will added to the post for future users.

Hello,
As an auto-reply I want to say in the experience of installing and configuring Cacti with NDO/NPC the problem importing hosts was due the amount of servers.

I did my test in a virtual server running in a 2GB WorkStation with Windows 7.

I tested the same process with the same amount of servers and passed without problemas.
Even to improve the process I've decided pass the servers by groups, not in one big chunk.

== If you desire consider the suggestion of import by groups.
