Do we have topics here relating to monitoring Air conditioning units? been clicking search menu none so far...
need to monitor air conditioners that can graph temperature status, any clues anyone? thanks

We are using the WebSensors product from EEsensors for achieving this:

one more thing does this mean I need to have the websensor unit to monitor the air conditioner? Thanks

Well, yes. The advantage would be that you do not need the aircon to provide this functionality the disadvantage of course is the additional device.
But, again, you can place the device anywhere in the room ( e.g. right in front of your servers/systems to measure the temperature of the air flowing into the system ) instead of next or within the aircon.
Depends on the requirements you have, but it's an option to consider.
