[solved] Spine not working with Cacti v0.8.8a

Cacti: 0.8.8a
Spine: 0.8.8a
OS: CentOS release 6.3 (Final), 2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64
PHP: 5.3.3, 512mb
mysql: 5.1.61
http: 2.2.15


I have cacti installed with Cacti v0.8.8a and the same corresponding Spine version.

Every time I choose Spine as the poller, nothing is done. No rrd files are updated.

Watching the logs, I see this:

running poller.php manually, i get this:

I have since fixed the time zone in PHP. I have no problems using cmd.php as the poller, but I know as I add more items, Spine will work bests as cmd.php will not be able to keep up. I was searching around and found a suggestion of using Spine, v0.8.7i, but still no luck.

Any suggestions would be great.

I legend color is also not showing. The color is set when using GPRINT, and I have text for the "text format" field. It does not show on any of them. I have recreated the graphs as well to be safe.

Sorry to ask, but did you actually read what you submitted? I think the answer is right there. Figure out why spine can not read your configuration... Permissions, content, location...

I did not notice that. After that line, its spits out LOTS of waiting on poller messages that it gets lost. Even when I pasted it, I did not realize it. But since you pointed it out, I fixed the problem. Had to move the conf file over to where Spine was. Back when I was using cacti and cactid, I dont ever recall having to use a conf file.

Anyway, thanks for pointing that line out.
