Monitoring Windows Server 2008 R@ CPU and Memory

Post by Sainyam »

Hi,

After long searching on forums i have to write in, sorry if same problem as been discuss before by someone.

I have recently deployed CactiEZ in my environment. It working fine for Firewall, but I want to monitor Windows server CPU and Memory usage, I tried lots of thing to make it up does not able to do that.

I has been gone through with this forum and user created one wmic files, I am not able to understand where/how to use this file.

http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f ... cti+centos.

I have already enabled snmp on the Windows server 2008 and added my cacti server address to accept the packets.

Even I have tried to install cacti on Windows Server 2008 R2, i have installed it but i cant get CPU or memory usage graphs even from the local system.

I don't understand where i am lacking.

Hi Gandalf,

But when I run snmp interface query it shows SNMP error.

I think grahps template is secondary matter first I should get snmp reply from the server.

Also i lost the link from where I have downloaded graphs tempates.

In case this is an SNMP based query, you're absolutely right. See 2nd link of my sig for debugging
