Hello Cacti Community
I have a problem that I have been trying to deal with for too long.
I am trying to get MACTRACK to get the MAC's of Cisco 2960S Switches.
So far it is recongnizing interfaces, but it is not collecting any macs.
I am using SNMP V3
I found that using SNMP V2 or 1 works like a charm!
I have updated svn of mactrack_cisco.php (1708).
I did the "snmp-server group (group-name) v3 auth context (vlan-xxx) command on the switch and it appears for each vlan the authorizationError disappears however still no MACs.
I would like to know if the "snmp-server group ....." command on the cisco switch can be avoided as we have over +70 cisco devices that we would have to update.
I also would like to avoid switching to snmp v1 or v2c, as they are all consistently in v3
I know there is another fellow who posted this issue on this forum but no solution. http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f ... 4&start=15 Is anyone else suffering from this? Is there a workaround other than above?
Should I update the entire plugin folder with that from the SVN? Currently have MacTrack 2.9
Thanks in advance
